My calling
Called to serve, committed to lead, surrendered to God.
I see pastoral ministry as both a calling and a sacred responsibility — to shepherd, preach, pray and provide direction for the people God entrusts to my care.
To shepherd people
Jesus is the Good Shepherd, and He is the model I want to follow. Shepherding means being present with people — listening, praying, celebrating victories, walking through grief, offering biblical counsel. I want to lead with both truth and compassion, approaching difficult moments with humility, grace and a genuine desire for restoration.
To preach and teach God's Word
I want preaching to do more than inform — I want it to transform. The pulpit should be a place of truth, hope, challenge, encouragement, correction and grace, where people are continually pointed toward Jesus.
To be a person of prayer
Prayer is not one ministry activity among many; it is the foundation from which ministry flows. Before asking what we should do, we should ask what God is doing and how He wants us to participate.
To provide vision and direction
Vision should grow out of prayer, Scripture, the mission of Jesus and the calling of the congregation — never personal ambition. I want to lead with conviction while remaining teachable.

Ministry heritage
Pastoral formation began within the local church through more than three decades of close ministry mentorship. As the eldest son of the late Rev. Kenneth Pinto, Shawn was shaped through years of practical service, leadership, worship, youth ministry, preaching, pastoral care and church administration. This heritage reinforced a conviction that pastoral ministry is a calling to serve Christ and His people with humility, biblical integrity, compassion and courage.
Affiliation: Independent, Bible-believing, Spirit-filled Full Gospel church with a vision to reach the lost and hurting and share the Full Gospel of Christ without compromise or bias.
